Dr.Sundaradevan, the First Badaga IAS officer writes….

For reasons best known to them, the Central and State Governments have denied Badagas better chances of qualifying/selection by taking away the ‘Schedule Tribe’ status. But, let that not discourage us; instead, let it be a motivation and give us more confidence to approach these tough exams.
I have lived in New Delhi for twenty years and have many friends among IFS/IAS/IPS fraternity and learnt from them that to qualify in UPSC exams, it takes focused, single minded attention for atleast two years. Coaching classes and group studies help a great deal.
Now, as a strange coincidence, my friend  Kunthachappai Krishnan Bellie, Coimbatore  Badaga Association has sent me the following information which I am reproducing in full.

dear jp, i am sending a notice of our covai association,….., belliekk
