Dr.Sundaradevan, the First Badaga IAS officer writes….

Are you an IAS aspirant looking for some valuable tips? Here is some good news for you!
The Kovai Nakku Betta Nala Sangam is happy to announce that IAS coaching classes will be started shortly at Coimbatore for the benefit of Badaga youngsters. Mr.N.Sundaradevan, IAS, has agreed to visit Coimbatore every fortnight and to guide you in preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examinations. The classes are likely to start in January 2010, if the response is good. His classes will be held on week-ends.
Civil Services Examinations require at least two years of strenuous preparation. The maximum age limit for appearing in these exams is 30 years. Hence it is preferable that you are below 28 years of age (as of 1st August, 2010).
The Civil Services syllabus is of the Master’s Degree standard. Therefore, persons who have completed a post-graduate degree (in any subject) or who are currently doing their Masters Degree Course are ideally suited to enroll in these classes.
IAS exams require sustained hard work, much more than your Master’s Degree. You should, therefore, be willing to put in that extra effort if you are already employed and working full time.
Mr. Sundaradevan will be guiding you in selecting the subjects, suggesting reading materials, the method of study and in the art of short-listing probable questions.
IAS is definitely within your grasp if you are determined.
Ready to take the plunge? Believe us, it is worth it.
If you are interested, please contact Dr. Sundaradevan at Sundaradevan@yahoo.com . Please mention the subject of the email as IAS coaching. Please indicate your age, your degree and your marks in 10th, plus two and Degree exams.
The exact date and the venue will be indicated to you in due course.
A great initiative. Who can be better qualified than Dr. Sundaradevan, the first and so far only IAS officer from the Badagas.

  7. Good initiative Sir. It will be so needful if we create awareness among the parents regarding early marriages among Badaga girls and the importance of education… I am a civil service aspirant. My aim is to make awareness among the rural people……..

wish you all the best……….Take some initiative to spread the benefits of the Right to Information Act – 2005 among the people whom you know. Thinking of starting a RTI clinic in Kotagiri or Hellakambai near Kattabettu……………….
